NVIDIA announces financial results for Q1 2025

NVIDIA steal the spotlight once again, announcing rapid continued growth and record quarterly revenue

NVIDIA has reported revenue for the first quarter ended April 28, 2024, of $26.0 billion, up 18% from the previous quarter and up a significant 262% from a year ago.

There was record quarterly Data Center revenue of $22.6 billion, up 23% from Q4 and up 427% from a year ago.

“The next industrial revolution has begun — companies and countries are partnering with NVIDIA to shift the trillion-dollar traditional data centers to accelerated computing and build a new type of data center — AI factories — to produce a new commodity: artificial intelligence.”

NVIDIA GPUs announces financial results

Everyone is talking about NVIDIA and for good reason. Founded in 1993, it has grown to become a computing phenomenon and now has over 27,000 employees in over 50 locations and serving tech giants from East to West, from Alibaba to Meta. 

It continues to garner attention for its agile chip technology or graphics processing units (GPUs). Launched in 1999, the powerful technology has been making waves in the industry ever since, with more than 200 million gamers and creators using NVIDIA GPUs, as per 2023.

The CEO and founder, Jensen Huang will be delivering a live keynote at Computex in Taiwan on June 2nd, on the topic of AI and how it is ‘driving a new industrial revolution’. No doubt some interesting insights will be shared and we will watch with anticipation, what NVIDIA will bring to the table next.
